EXHIBIT C <br /> <br />PROPOSED NEW JOB DESCRIPTION <br /> <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER - DEPARTMENTAL <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />DEFINITION <br /> <br />Under general direction, oversees the operations of individual projects within programs; <br />plans, organizes, oversees, coordinates, and provides complex administrative support for <br />an assigned City Department; represents the department on administrative support <br />matters involving other departments and agencies; manages and coordinates activities <br />related to an assigned program area. <br />. <br />SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED <br /> <br />This position reports to a Department Director, Assistant City Manager and/or Assistant <br />Director. <br /> <br />Responsibilities include direct and indirect supervision of professional, technical, and <br />administrative staff as assigned. <br /> <br />EXAMPLES OF IMPORTANT AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES <br /> <br />1. Manages, oversees, and coordinates activities related to a department which <br />includes coordinating, administering, and evaluating programs, projects, <br />processes, procedures, systems, standards, and/or service offerings. <br /> <br />2. Manages and participates in the analysis of management information; <br />formulates recommendations based on findings; manages priorities, work <br />processes, and procedures. <br /> <br />3. Coordinates time, budget, and resources to complete work within program <br />guidelines. <br /> <br />4. Participates in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, <br />policies and priorities of the department. <br /> <br />5.
