<br />20 <br /> <br />The following holiday pay rules will not apply to Administrative Holidays. The following <br />holiday pay rules apply on the actual holiday, regardless of which day City Hall recognizes <br />the holiday: <br /> <br />o If an employee works on an above-listed holiday that falls on the employee’s regularly <br />scheduled workday, the employee will be compensated at time-and-one-half (1.5) for <br />hours worked on the holiday, plus ten (10) hours of holiday pay at straight time. <br /> <br />o If an above-listed holiday falls on an employee's regularly scheduled workday, and the <br />employee requests and is granted the day off, the employee will receive ten (10) hours <br />of holiday time off paid at straight time. <br /> <br />o If an employee works on an above-listed holiday that falls on the employee’s regularly <br />scheduled day off, the employee will be compensated at time-and-one-half (1.5) for <br />hours worked on the holiday, plus ten (10) hours of holiday pay at time and a half; <br /> <br />o If an above-listed holiday falls on an employee's regularly scheduled day off, and the <br />employee does not work on the holiday, the employee will receive ten (10) hours of <br />holiday pay at time and one-half (1.5); <br /> <br />o No employee will be required to take time off for a holiday. <br /> <br />In the event any of the holidays specified above occurs while an employee is on vacation <br />or sick leave, the holiday shall not be charged as vacation or sick leave. <br /> <br />In the event that any Administrative Holiday has not been used by December 31st, the City <br />will endeavor to make payment on the non-payroll Friday immediately following the first <br />payroll Friday in January; however, the payment will be made no later than the first pay <br />period in February. <br /> <br />7.16 Call Back / Call-Out Pay <br /> <br />Employees who are called back after leaving work at the end of the normal working day or <br />called in to work on their days off shall be credited with no less than two (2) hours at the <br />overtime rate. <br /> <br />Employees required to call into the weekly supervisory meeting during their normal time <br />off shall be credited with no less that one (1) hour at the overtime rate. <br /> <br />Effective the first full pay period following City Council approval of a successor MOU in <br />2025, employees who respond to an operations-related call while off-duty shall be credited <br />with a minimum of thirty (30) minutes of pay at the overtime rate. Multiple calls within <br />the same 30-minute period that do not exceed a cumulative total of thirty (30) minutes will <br />be credited at a total of thirty (30) minutes of pay. <br /> <br />7.17 Deferred Compensation <br /> <br />Employees are eligible to participate in and contribute to a deferred compensation plan <br />offered by the City, subject to applicable I.R.S. limits. <br /> <br />7.18 Cellular Phone Allowance <br />6.H. - Page 28 of 72 <br />370
