All scoped work and repairs have <br />been completed to the satisfaction of the City. Engineering staff recommends the final acceptance of <br />work, the release of all bonds and retention, and the filing of notices of completion. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />There is no General Fund impact associated with these contracts. Funds for Veterans Boulevard Sanitary <br />Sewer Repairs and Replacement Project (Phase 2) and the supplemental 2024 Veterans Boulevard <br />Sanitary Sewer Emergency Repairs were appropriated in the Fiscal Year 2023-24 budget Fund 689 for <br />Sewer Fund Capital Projects – Collection System Replacement Program with an available balance of <br />$7,221,145 as of January 17, 2025. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW <br />This activity is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) as defined in CEQA <br />Guidelines, section 15378, because it has no potential for resulting in either a direct or reasonably <br />foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment. <br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br />Public notification was achieved by posting the agenda, with the agenda items being listed, at least 72 <br />hours prior to the meeting. <br />6.B. - Page 4 of 5 <br />65
