2 <br />3.Contact Person and Phone Number <br />Project Planner <br />William Chui, AICP <br />Senior Planner <br />wchui@redwoodcity.org <br />650-780-5916 <br />4.Project Location <br />The City of Redwood City is located on the San Francisco Peninsula in the Bay Area region <br />of California, approximately 30 miles south of San Francisco. 901 El Camino Real is in <br />Downtown Redwood City. 920 Shasta Street is located southeast of Downtown and is <br />about 400 feet northeast of El Camino Real, about 330 feet east of Main Street, and abuts <br />Woodside Road (SR 84) to the east. All parcels surrounding 901 El Camino Real are <br />developed, including commercial uses to the north, educational uses to the west (Sequoia <br />High School and athletic fields), commercial uses with adjacent residential uses to the <br />south, and commercial and transportation uses to the east (Transit Center-Caltrain parking <br />lot and the Sequoia Station shopping center). Parcels surrounding 920 Shasta Street are <br />also developed, including commercial uses to the north and south, and residential uses to <br />the west and east.
