REV: 03-20-25 LF <br />Concrete Masonry Unit (CMU) or retaining wall designs/calculations, architectural <br />rendering, amenities building and foundation design, landscaping and irrigation <br />design, underground detention or infiltration systems, enclosures, fencing, gate <br />design, signage, easement exhibits, descriptions and language, coordinating <br />modifications of utility-provided easement documents, battery energy storage and <br />utility interconnections for batteries, hazardous area storage and classifications <br />drawings, photos simulations, lighting plans or photometric studies, environmental <br />hazards, risk assessment or mitigation, soil contamination remediation, <br />air/water/sewer/natural gas design. <br />• Technical Specifications: In addition to design drawings, Consultant will develop <br />Technical specifications for the EV charging infrastructure. The specifications will <br />include civil and electrical specifications, follow CSI Format Div 50 and be provided <br />in MS Word format. <br />Specification Planning: Consultant will complete the following tasks to refine <br />the technical specifications scope development: <br />o Define Project Scope and Standards: Identify the project requirements <br />with input from the City. This includes the type, capacity, and location of <br />the electric vehicle charging infrastructure, while referencing applicable <br />industry standards (e.g., IEC, NEC, or local building codes). <br />o Outline System Components: Specify the technical details for key <br />components such as chargers, power supply systems, communication <br />protocols, wiring, and protective devices. <br />o Address Site and Installation Requirements: Include site preparation, <br />environmental considerations, accessibility, electrical load analysis, civil <br />scope and safety measures for installation and operation. <br />o Incorporate Testing and Compliance Procedures: Define protocols for <br />system testing, commissioning, and ensuring compliance with regulatory <br />and safety standards before project handover. <br />o Confirm list of Civil, Structural and Electrical Specifications to be <br />Developed <br />-65% Design Draft Specifications: Consultant will provide preliminary <br />specifications draft at the 65% Design with one (1) revision to incorporate City <br />comments. The City will prepare and provide front-end documents <br />(Division 00 and 01), which will be bound into the overall specification <br />package developed by the Consultant. Consultant will review City <br />provided front end documents (including General and Special Conditions) <br />and provide project specific suggested revisions using track changes for <br />City consideration.
