Prepare and submit preliminary construction cost estimates and 3 sets of construction plans (90% completion level) incorporating City, utility company and other comments from previous submittal and up to one (1) revision based on City comments. Submit complete set of project specifications. The final deliverable will include utility design specifications and scope of work as provided by the utility company. • Basis of 90% Design: CD90s will capture land use requirements for site development and construction requirements for permit issuance. One (1) revision to CD90 based on City comments is included. Major changes to the site plan or equipment after CD90 or utility design may result in additional cost and extended utility coordination timeline; the switchboard manufacturer’s power and metering design satisfy all utility requirements; the final Utility Design Package (UDP) deliverable includes utility design, specifications and scope of work as provided by the utility company. Additional deliverables can be provided at an additional cost to the City. Engineering includes up to two (2) sixty- (60) minute meetings with City for CD90s. Any additional costs associated with changes to the site plan or equipment must be approved by the City prior to Consultant proceeding with any changes. • Permitting scope of work will include administrative zoning review, building and Electrical permits, including two (2) rounds of responses to drawing comments from the City. Application submittals to the City to be done electronically for one (1) equipment location for the EV chargers and associated equipment. Pre-application meetings, if required, to be conducted by Zoom conference or other method not involving travel to the City. Land Services participation is not required for site visits to proposed locations. Permitting scope of work for this is non-public space (fleet use only).
