REV: 04-09-25 VR <br />EXHIBIT “A” <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Phase 1: Program Setup (April 2025) <br />Consultant will finalize program setup, and prepare for initial focus on outreach and <br />training with technical assistance delivery to start towards the end of Phase 1. <br />Task 1.1: Program Setup <br />Subtask 1.1.1: Work with the City to identify target data sets that might streamline <br />the outreach process. For example, City business licenses, Secretary of State <br />listings of business owners residing in Redwood City, etc. <br />Subtask 1.1.2: Finalize program materials, including enrollment forms, <br />assessment tools, work plan templates, and reporting formats. <br />Subtask 1.1.3: Train staff and consultants on program specifics, technical <br />assistance delivery, and relevant compliance requirements. <br />Task 1.2: Internal Coordination and Planning <br />Subtask 1.2.1: Develop an internal schedule for technical assistance sessions, <br />workshops, and ongoing assessments based on the initial intake of participants. <br />Subtask 1.2.2: Establish communication channels with the City to ensure smooth <br />coordination throughout the program. <br />Phase 2: Initial Engagement and Assessments (May - June 2025) <br />Engage with enrolled businesses, conduct initial assessments to identify their technical <br />assistance needs, and develop individualized work plans. <br />Task 2.1: Initial Business Engagement <br />Subtask 2.1.1: Leverage existing material to begin engaging with potential <br />participants. <br />Subtask 2.1.2: Contact small businesses to introduce them to the program’s <br />technical assistance services and set expectations. <br />Subtask 2.1.3: Schedule one-on-one assessment sessions to evaluate each <br />business’s operational status, financial health, and specific needs. <br />Task 2.2: Conduct Initial Assessments <br />Subtask 2.2.1: Perform in-depth assessments to determine the technical <br />assistance needs of each business, focusing on areas like business planning, <br />marketing, and financial management. <br />Subtask 2.2.2: Develop customized work plans for each business, outlining the <br />support services to be provided, key deliverables, and timelines. <br />ATTY/AGR.2025.071/Right Source Services (RWC Smal Business Support) (Page 11 of 14)
