From:Suhani Bansal
To:publiccomment
Subject:Council Meeting Agenda Item 7B
Date:Saturday, April 26, 2025 8:01:53 AM
You don't often get email from suhanibansal633@gmail.com. Learn why this is important
Dear Redwood City City Council,
I hope this message finds you well.
My name is Suhani Bansal, and I am a 9th grader at Design Tech High School in Redwood
City. I’m writing to express my support for the development of a Teen Center in our
community, across from Sequoia High School.
Currently, there are limited spaces in Redwood City specifically designed to support the needs
of teens outside of school hours. We need a safe, inclusive environment where young people
can study, collaborate, explore their interests, and build connections. A dedicated Teen Center
would promote academic growth, leadership skills, mental health, and a stronger sense of
community among youth.
Building a Teen Center would demonstrate that Redwood City is committed to investing in its
next generation. I hope the Council will prioritize making it a reality.
Thank you for considering my perspective.
Sincerely,
Suhani Bansal
