In 2028 and going forward, all seats shall be appointed to four-year <br />terms. <br />D.POWERS AND DUTIES: <br />1.The Police Advisory Committee shall be an advisory body to the Chief of Police <br />and receive staff support from the Police Department. The Police Advisory <br />Committee shall: <br />a.Review City policing policies; <br />b.Review community concerns related to crime and policing practices; and <br />c.Receive an annual report on personnel complaint process. <br />2.The Committee shall develop its annual work plan in partnership with the Chief <br />of Police and present or submit its work plan annually to the City Council. <br />3.The Police Advisory Committee shall not participate in departmental personnel <br />and disciplinary actions, ongoing criminal or internal investigations, or active <br />critical incidents and will not play any role in civil or criminal litigation.
