The grant is administered
and managed through the California Office of Emergency Services. The grant funding cost-share is 75
percent federal and 25 percent local (City) funds.
The goal of the Project is to improve the Bradford Storm Drainage Pump Station and the stormwater
system within its watershed to increase capacity for resiliency against 100-year storm events in the
Bradford watershed. This project was identified in the Eastern Low-Lying Area Drainage Master Plan, a
master plan outlining potential stormwater system capital improvement projects to increase system
capacity and flooding resiliency within the Eastern Low-Lying Area of Redwood City.
As depicted in Figure 1 below, the Eastern Low-Lying Area generally stretches from El Camino Real
downstream to the San Francisco Bay and from Cordilleras Creek to El Camino Real. The Bradford Storm
Drainage Pump Station is located at 761 Bradford Street above Redwood Creek.
6.A. - Page 1 of 13
5
