REV: 04-29-25 LF <br />QUICK RELEASE MOUNTING KIT <br />There shall be a Whelen quick release mounting kit provided with each of the above stated <br />portable lights. <br />BODY SIDE SCENE LIGHT ACTIVATION <br />The scene lighting shall be activated with the chassis side scene lights. <br />CORD REEL <br />One (1) Hannay model #ECR series cord reel shall be installed on the apparatus as specified. <br />ELECTRICAL CORD <br />The reel shall come equipped with 200 feet of black 10-3 electrical cord. There shall also be a <br />cord stop supplied with the reel. <br />CORD TERMINATION <br />The cord shall terminate in a female NEMA L5-20C twist lock end. <br />DISTRIBUTION BOX <br />An Akron remote power distribution box with two (2) NEMA L5-20 single receptacles and two (2) <br />NEMA 5-20 single receptacles shall be provided for the reel. The distribution box shall be wired <br />to a 12.00 inch (.3m) long 3 conductor pigtail with the corresponding NEMA L5-series cord end <br />that is supplied for the cord reel. <br />The distribution box shall be stored in a diamond plate mounting box when not in use. When <br />mounted on the exterior of the body, each distribution box shall be equipped with two (2) footman <br />loops and one (1) 11” - 16” Zico retention strap to secure the distribution box in the bracket. <br />The box shall be equipped with a light to indicate when distribution box is energized. <br />The distribution box shall be equipped with the following receptacles: <br />Position 1: NEMA L5-20 R <br />Position 2: NEMA L5-20 R <br />Position 3: NEMA 5-20 R Duplex <br />Position 4: NEMA 5-20 R Duplex <br />REWIND ACTIVATION <br />A weather resistant push button switch to activate the reel rewind shall be located next to the reel <br />specified. <br />The switch shall be labeled “CORD REEL”. <br />ATTY/AGR.2025.089/Fire Apparatus Solutions (Purchase of Spartan-LTC 105' TDA) (Page 115 of 150)
