REV: 04-29-25 LF
The heater shall have a multi-speed motor and thermostatic control located in the tiller cab within
convenient reach of the tillerman.
The heater shall be 120-volt AC and shall be powered by the onboard generator.
The heater/defrost system shall have a minimum airflow of 85 cfm.
TILLER CAB AIR CONDITIONER
Air conditioning will be provided for the tiller cab.
The air conditioner will have a minimum cooling capacity of 13,000 BTU.
The unit will be 120-volt AC and shall be powered by the onboard generator. The full load
amperage draw will be 12.00 amps in the cooling mode.
The evaporator will be located below the tiller cab in an area easily accessible for routine
maintenance. The air conditioning unit will not increase the overall height of the tiller cab.
DUAL 6” FANS
Two (2) 6” fans shall be provided and installed in the tiller cab, one (1) each side, to circulate the
air and aid in the defrosting of the tiller cab windows. The fan shall be 12 volt and controlled by a
switch on the fans base.
BUZZER WARNING SYSTEM
A buzzer warning system shall be provided between the tiller cab and the tractor cab.
A momentary push button switch with a buzzer shall be located in the tractor cab and a switch as
described below and a buzzer in the tiller cab, labeled as follows:
1-Stop, 2-Go, 3-Back-up.
The system shall be activated in the tiller cab by a weatherproof foot switch.
HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
The hydraulic system shall provide power in as efficient a manner as possible. The system shall
use a piston type load sensing pump and shall be capable of operating under any rated load
condition and aerial position at normal engine idle (slow idle) or governor controlled fast idle. The
piston pump shall be capable of generating sufficient flows to allow multiple function operation
without significant loss of speed.
The system shall not be dependent upon an auxiliary cooler to control system temperature.
Hydraulic Generator on Apparatus TDA
ATTY/AGR.2025.089/Fire Apparatus Solutions (Purchase of Spartan-LTC 105' TDA) (Page 127 of 150)
