Operation beyond this <br />limit shall be at the operator's discretion. <br />COMMUNICATION SYSTEM <br />A Fire Research ICA910 Series (ACT) communication system shall be provided and installed <br />between the aerial device tip and the aerial operator's position. The communication speaker at <br />the tip shall require no operator attention to transmit or receive. The transmitting receiving volume <br />controls shall be located at the aerial operator's position. These control modules shall have an <br />LED volume display and push-button volume control. <br />AERIAL TIP LOCATOR LIGHTS <br />Two (2) lights shall be installed at the tip of the aerial device, one (1) each side, to help locate the <br />tip of the aerial during fire ground operations. <br />Whelen TIR3, RS*03ZCR series, Super LED light(s) with black flange(s) shall be provided and <br />installed as specified. <br />The light(s) shall be amber in color. <br />AERIAL SPOTLIGHTS <br />All 12VDC aerial spotlights lights shall be mounted below handrail height, so as not to increase <br />the overall height of the vehicle. <br />TRACKING LIGHTS <br />Two lights shall be mounted at the rear of the base ladder section handrails, one (1) each side. <br />Lights shall be switched from the turntable control station. <br />Whelen Micro Pioneer series, 45 watt, 4,100 lumen, 12 VDC, LED work/scene light(s) shall be <br />provided. <br />An “On/Off” switch and black handle shall be provided along with three (3) interchangeable lenses <br />for each light.
