REV: 04-29-25 LF <br />RESCUE ROPE ROLLER ASSEMBLY <br />The last rung of the aerial ladder shall be equipped with a removable rescue rope roller assembly. <br />The assembly shall have a stainless-steel shaft, dual tapered roller guide and two (2) pivoting <br />lifting lugs. The assembly shall be rated at 500 lb lift capacity. <br />AKRON LADDER PIPE <br />The ladder shall be equipped with an Akron #1496 manually controller ladder pipe with a 2-1/2” <br />NHT inlet. The ladder pipe shall be manually attached to the tip of the fly section for fire scene <br />operations. <br />The ladder pipe shall be equipped with 200' of 3/8” manilla rope. Three (3) style #489 tips (1 1/8”, <br />1 3/4”, 2”) and three (3) style #350 mounting plates shall be provided. One (1) mounting bracket <br />shall be provided for installation on the body. <br />L.A. STYLE HOSE TRAY <br />A ladder pipe hose tray shall be provided and installed on the appartus. The hose tray shall be <br />fabricated of embossed aluminum diamond plate and include a removable poly liner tray for <br />loading hose. Stops shall be provided to prevent the liner from being unintentionally removed as <br />the hose is being deployed. Rollers shall be attached to the poly liner. <br />The hose tray shall accommodate 120' of 3” double jacketed fire hose with 2 1/2” couplings. <br />A lift up hinged lid with a rubber hold open device shall be provided on the hose tray. <br />The hose tray shall be installed on the top of the tractor compartment, centered, facing the base <br />of the aerial. <br />REFLECTIVE STRIPING <br />There shall be a 10.00 inch (254.00 mm) high reflective stripe applied to the chassis and <br />apparatus body as specified: <br />STRIPE PATTERN <br />The reflective striping shall be applied around the perimeter of the apparatus in a straight line <br />pattern. <br />STRIPE COLOR <br />The reflective striping shall be white in color. <br />REAR RETRO-REFLECTIVE CHEVRON STRIPING <br />A minimum of 50 percent of the rear-facing vertical surface, visible from the rear of the apparatus, <br />shall be equipped with Diamond Grade, retro-reflective striping in a chevron pattern, sloping <br />downward and away from the centerline of the vehicle at an angle of 45-degrees. <br />ATTY/AGR.2025.089/Fire Apparatus Solutions (Purchase of Spartan-LTC 105' TDA) (Page 147 of 150)
