REV: 04-29-25 LF <br />indicators, four (4) total, shall be backlit and color coded indicating the following conditions: <br />“Green” Safe Operating Zone. <br />“Yellow” Caution Operating Zone. <br />“Red” Do Not Operate Zone – Reposition Apparatus. <br />AERIAL SIGN PANELS <br />There shall be a total of two (2) Aerial sign panels provided and installed on the outside of the <br />aerial base section, one (1) each side, for fire department lettering. Each sign panel shall have a <br />lettering surface of approximately 13” wide x 120” long. <br />SIGN PANEL PAINT <br />The finished paint color shall match PPG FBCH 903653/DuPont 817 White. <br />AERIAL FILTER & LUBE SET <br />The following Filters and Lube shall be shipped loose to assist in maintenance of the aerial device <br />as described by the manufacturer: <br />· One (1) Pressure Filter element <br />· One (1) Return Filter element <br />· Four (4) Tubes, “Lube-A-Boom” aerial grease <br />· One (1) Can, “Lube -A- Rope”. <br />AXE MOUNTING <br />There shall be a mount provided and installed for a flat head axe in the fly section of the aerial. <br />The axe mount shall include a receptacle that will cover the entire axe head and a PAC bracket <br />to secure the axe handle. <br />The mounting location shall be on the opposite side of the aerial ladder from the control console. <br />CHAIN SAW SCABBARDS <br />Two (2) chain saw scabbards shall be provided and mounted in the aerial fly section, one (1) each <br />side. <br />ROOF LADDER MOUNT <br />Mounting brackets shall be installed on the outside of the aerial base section to store a single roof <br />ladder. The mounting brackets shall be constructed from aluminum with a dual action sanded <br />finish. The brackets shall be easily accessible from the inside of the ladder section or from the top <br />of the body. The aerial sign plate (if specified) shall be mounted to the outside of the brackets. <br />The mounting location shall be on the same side of the aerial ladder as the control console. <br />ROOF LADDER MOUNT <br />The mounting brackets shall be designed and located to accommodate a 10' roof ladder with <br />folding hooks both ends. <br />ATTY/AGR.2025.089/Fire Apparatus Solutions (Purchase of Spartan-LTC 105' TDA) (Page 146 of 150)
