REV: 04-29-25 LF <br />CAB PAINT WARRANTY <br />City shall receive a Paint and Finish (Exterior Clear coated) Ten (10) Years limited warranty in <br />accordance with, and subject to, warranty certificate RFW0710. The warranty certificate is <br />incorporated by reference into this Agreement. <br />CAB PAINT INTERIOR <br />The visible interior cab structure surfaces shall be painted with a multi-tone onyx black texture <br />finish. <br />CAB ENTRY DOORS <br />The cab shall include four (4) entry doors, two (2) front doors and two (2) crew doors designed <br />for ease of entering and egress when outfitted with an SCBA. The doors shall be constructed of <br />extruded aluminum with a nominal thickness of 0.13 inch. The exterior skins shall be constructed <br />of 0.13 inch aluminum plate. <br />The doors shall include a double-rolled style automotive rubber seal around the perimeter of each <br />door frame and door edge which ensures a weather tight fit. <br />All door hinges shall be hidden within flush mounted cab doors for a pleasing smooth appearance <br />and perfect fit along each side of the cab. Each door hinge shall be piano style with a 0.38 inch <br />pin and shall be constructed of stainless steel. <br />CAB ENTRY DOOR TYPE <br /> <br />All cab entry doors shall be barrier clear design resulting in exposed lower cab steps. The doors <br />shall provide approximately 32.00 inches of clearance from the ground to the bottom of the door <br />so cab doors may be opened un-hindered by most obstacles encountered, such as guard rails <br />along interstate highways. <br />Entry doors shall include Pollak mechanical plunger style switches for electrical component <br />activation. <br />CAB INSULATION <br />The cab ceiling and walls shall include a nonwoven polyester fiber insulation. The insulation shall <br />act as a barrier absorbing noise as well as assisting in sustaining the desired climate within the <br />cab interior. <br />LH MID EMS COMPARTMENT <br />The cab shall include a compartment located in the middle of the wall above the left side wheel <br />well. The inner rear corner of the compartment shall be chamfered at a 45-degree angle to <br />eliminate the square corner. The chamfered corner shall be cut at a width and depth of 7.00 inches <br />the full height of the compartment.
