REV: 04-29-25 LF <br />EXTRA ACCESSORY POWER <br />One (1) extra set of power and ground studs shall be provided and installed behind the officer <br />seat with a 40 amp breaker. The studs shall be 0.38 inch diameter capable of carrying up to a 40 <br />amp load and shall be master power switched. <br />EXTERIOR ELECTRICAL TERMINAL COATING <br />All terminals exposed to the elements will be sprayed with a high visibility protective rubberized <br />coating to prevent corrosion. <br />ELECTRICAL SYSTEM WARRANTY <br />City shall receive an Electrical System Two (2) Years or 36,000 Miles limited warranty in <br />accordance with, and subject to, warranty certificate RFW0202. The warranty certificate is <br />incorporated by reference into this Agreement. <br />ENGINE <br />The chassis engine shall be a Cummins heavy heavy duty (HHD) certified X15 engine. The X15 <br />engine shall be an in-line six (6) cylinder, four-cycle diesel-powered engine. The engine shall offer <br />a rating of 605 horsepower at 1800 RPM and shall be governed at 2100 RPM. The torque rating <br />shall feature 1850-foot pounds of torque at 1000 RPM with 912 cubic inches (14.9 liter) of <br />displacement. <br />The engine shall feature a VGT™ Turbocharger, a high-pressure common rail fuel system, fully <br />integrated electronic controls with an electronic governor, and shall be EPA certified to meet the <br />2027 emissions standards. <br />A wiring harness shall be supplied ending at the back of the cab. The harness shall include a <br />connector which shall allow an optional harness for the pump panel. The included circuits shall <br />be provided for a tachometer, oil pressure, engine temperature, hand throttle, high idle and a PSG <br />system. A circuit for J1939 data link shall also be provided at the back of the cab. <br />Until the 2027 EPA engine integration is finalized, option availability and body design <br />relative to engine and aftertreatment are subject to change. Additional costs associated <br />with the 2027 EPA engine will be passed on to the Vendor. <br />CAB ENGINE TUNNEL <br />The cab interior shall include an integrated engine tunnel constructed of 5052-H32 Marine Grade <br />0.19 of an inch thick aluminum alloy plate. The tunnel shall be a maximum of 46.50 inches wide <br />X 29.00 inches high. <br />DIESEL PARTICULATE FILTER CONTROLS <br />There shall be two (2) controls for the diesel particulate filter. One (1) control shall be for <br />regeneration and one (1) control shall be for regeneration inhibit.
