REV: 04-29-25 LF <br />FRAME ASSEMBLY STRUCTURAL <br />City shall receive a Frame Assembly Structural Fifty (50) Years or 250,000 Miles limited warranty <br />in accordance with, and subject to, warranty certificate RFW0305. The warranty certificate is <br />incorporated by reference into this Agreement. <br />FRAME RAIL CORROSION <br />City shall receive a Frame Rail Corrosion (Zinc Plate and Powder Coat) Twenty Five (25) Years <br />or 150,000 Miles limited warranty in accordance with, and subject to, warranty certificate <br />RFW0316. The warranty certificate is incorporated by reference into this Agreement. <br />FRAME COMPONENTS CORROSION <br />City shall receive a Frame Components Corrosion (Powder Coat) Three (3) Years or 48,000 Miles <br />limited warranty in accordance with, and subject to, warranty certificate RFW0313. The warranty <br />certificate is incorporated by reference into this Agreement. <br />FRONT BUMPER <br />The chassis shall be equipped with a severe duty front bumper constructed from structural steel <br />channel. The bumper material shall be 0.38 thick ASTM A36 steel which shall measure 12.00 <br />inches high with a 3.05 inch flange and shall be 104.50 inches wide with angled front corners. <br />The bumper shall be primed and painted as specified. <br />FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION LENGTH <br />The front bumper shall be extended approximately 4.00 inches ahead of the cab. <br />FRONT BUMPER PAINT <br /> <br />The front bumper shall be painted the same as the lower cab color. <br />MECHANICAL SIREN <br />The front bumper shall include an electro mechanical Federal Q2B™ siren, which shall be <br />streamlined, chrome-plated and shall produce 123 decibels of sound at 10.00 feet. The Q2B™ <br />siren produces a distinctive warning sound that is recognizable at long distances. A unique clutch <br />design provides a longer coast down sound while reducing the amp draw to 100 amps. The siren <br />shall measure 10.50 inches wide X 10.00 inches high X 14.00 inches deep. The siren shall include <br />mounting hardware designed to recess or flush mount. <br />MECHANICAL SIREN LOCATION <br />The siren shall be recess mounted on the right side of the front fascia of the bumper, in the <br />outboard position.
