REV: 04-29-25 LF <br />INTERIOR TRIM <br />The cab interior shall include trim on the front ceiling, rear crew ceiling, and the cab walls. It shall <br />be easily removable to assist in maintenance. The trim shall be constructed of insulated vinyl over <br />a hard board backing. <br />REAR WALL INTERIOR TRIM <br />The rear wall of the cab shall be trimmed with vinyl. <br />HEADER TRIM <br />The cab interior shall feature header trim over the driver and officer dash constructed of 5052- <br />H32 Marine Grade, 0.13 inch thick aluminum. <br />TRIM CENTER DASH <br />The main center dash area shall be constructed of 5052-H32 Marine Grade, 0.13 inch thick <br />aluminum plate. There shall be four (4) holes located on the top of the dash near each outer edge <br />of the electrical access cover for ventilation. The center dash electrical access cover shall include <br />a gas cylinder stay which shall hold the cover open during maintenance. <br />TRIM LH DASH <br />The left-hand dash shall be constructed of 5052-H32 Marine Grade, 0.13 inch thick aluminum <br />plate for a perfect fit around the instrument panel. For increased occupant protection the extreme <br />duty left hand dash utilizes patent pending break away technology to reduce rigidity in the event <br />of a frontal crash. The left-hand dash shall offer lower vertical surface area to the left and right of <br />the steering column to accommodate control panels. <br />TRIM RH DASH <br />The right-hand dash shall be constructed of 5052-H32 Marine Grade, 0.13 of an inch thick <br />aluminum plate and shall include a glove compartment with a hinged door and a Mobile Data <br />Terminal (MDT) provision. The glove compartment size will measure 14.00 inches wide X 4.50 <br />inches high X 5.88 inches deep. The MDT provision shall be provided above the glove <br />compartment. <br />ENGINE TUNNEL TRIM <br />The cab engine tunnel shall be covered with a multi-layer mat consisting of 0.25 inch closed cell <br />foam with a 0.06 inch thick non-slip vinyl surface with a pebble grain finish. The mat shall be held <br />in place by pressure sensitive adhesive. The engine tunnel mat shall be trimmed with anodized <br />aluminum stair nosing trim for an aesthetically pleasing appearance. <br />ENGINE TUNNEL ACCESSORIES <br />The engine tunnel shall feature a fabricated aluminum console which shall include a large storage <br />bin with dividers and a map compartment.
