REV: 04-29-25 LF <br />below the left front corner of the bottom cushion. The seat shall also feature integral springs to <br />isolate shock. <br />The seat shall feature an all belts to seat (ABTS) style of safety restraint. The ABTS feature shall <br />include a three-point shoulder harness with the lap belt and automatic retractor as an integral part <br />of the seat assembly. The buckle portion of the seat belt shall extend from the seat base towards <br />the driver position within easy reach of the occupant. The ABTS feature shall also include the <br />RiteHite™ shoulder adjustment feature to provide enhanced comfort and safety by allowing <br />customized seat belt fit. <br />This model of seat shall have successfully completed the static load tests set forth by FMVSS <br />207/210. This testing shall include a simultaneous forward load of 3000 pounds each on the lap <br />and shoulder belts and twenty (20) times the weight through the center of gravity. This model of <br />seat installed in the cab model, as specified, shall have successfully completed the dynamic sled <br />testing using FMVSS 208 as a guide with the following accommodations. In order to reflect the <br />larger size outfitted firefighters, the test dummy used shall be a 95th percentile hybrid III male <br />weighing 225 pounds rather than the 50th percentile male dummy weighing 165 pounds as <br />referenced in FMVSS 208. <br />The materials used in construction of the seat shall also have successfully completed testing with <br />regard to the flammability of materials used in the occupant compartments of motor vehicles as <br />outlined in FMVSS 302, of which dictates the allowable burning rate of materials in the occupant <br />compartments of motor vehicles. <br />SEAT BACK OFFICER <br />The officer’s seat shall include a standard seat back incorporating the all belts to seat feature <br />(ABTS). The seat back shall feature a contoured head rest. <br />SEAT MOUNTING OFFICER <br />The officer’s seat shall be installed in an ergonomic position in relation to the cab dash. <br />OCCUPANT PROTECTION OFFICER <br />The officer’s position shall be equipped with the IMMI 4Front and RollTek™ Systems which shall <br />secure belted occupants and increase the survivable space within the cab. The 4Front and <br />RollTek™ Systems shall selectively deploy integrated systems to protect against injuries in <br />qualifying frontal impact, and rollover events. <br />The Officer’s seating area protection shall include: <br />•Officer’s knee airbag OKAB - inflating knee bolster airbags to protect the knees. <br />•Integrated roll sensor IRS - detects an imminent rollover, activates protective devices and <br />records crash events. <br />•Integrated belt pretension ICP - device for air ride seats tightens the seat belt, securing <br />officer in seat and positioning officer for contact with seat integrated head cushion side roll <br />airbag. <br />ATTY/AGR.2025.089/Fire Apparatus Solutions (Purchase of Spartan-LTC 105' TDA) (Page 63 of 150)
