REV: 04-29-25 LF <br />INTERMEDIATE STEP LIGHTS <br />The intermediate step well area at each door shall include a TecNiq D06 LED light within a chrome <br />housing. The egress step lights shall provide visibility to the step well area for the first step exiting <br />the vehicle. The egress step lights shall activate with entry step lighting. <br />MAP LIGHTS <br />A Federal Signal gooseneck style map light shall be provided. The light shall have red and white <br />LEDs to eliminate the need for a filter, shall be 18.00 inches tall and shall have a control switch <br />on the base. The light shall be located on the right-hand side of the dash. <br />CAB SPOTLIGHTS <br />The cab shall include two (2) Golight model 20204GT white remote controlled LED spotlights. <br />Each spotlight shall be mounted on the mid forward flat cab roof as far outboard as possible above <br />the driver and officer door. Each spotlight shall feature an LED lamp, capable of 370-degree <br />rotation and 135-degree vertical adjustment. Each spotlight shall include a remote control installed <br />on the switch panel. <br />ENGINE COMPARTMENT LIGHT <br />There shall be two (2) LED NFPA compliant lights mounted under the engine tunnel for area work <br />lighting on the engine. The lights shall activate automatically when the cab is tilted. <br />TILLER GUIDE LIGHTS <br /> <br />There shall be a Grote model 46823 aerodynamic amber light mounted to the roof of the cab. The <br />light shall allow all around visibility for use as a center guide by the tiller operator. <br />DO NOT MOVE APPARATUS LIGHT <br />The front headliner of the cab shall include a flashing red Whelen Ion LED light clearly labeled <br />“Do Not Move Apparatus”. In addition to the flashing red light, an audible alarm shall be included <br />which shall sound while the light is activated. <br />The flashing red light shall be located centered left to right for greatest visibility. <br />The light and alarm shall be interlocked for activation when either a cab door is not firmly closed <br />or an apparatus compartment door is not closed, and the parking brake is released. <br />MASTER WARNING SWITCH <br />A master switch shall be included in the main rocker switch panel. The switch shall be a rocker <br />type, red in color and labeled “Master” for identification. The switch shall feature control over all <br />devices wired through it.
