Slots to be angled to retain contents while driving. <br />Exact dimension and layout shall be discussed at the preconstruction meeting. <br />MAP BOX FINISH <br />The map box shall have a dual-action sanded finish. <br />CHASSIS REQUIRED LABELING <br />Signs that state “Occupants must be seated and belted when apparatus is in motion” shall be <br />provided. <br />They shall be visible from each seating position. <br />There shall be a lubrication plate mounted inside the cab listing the type and grade of lubrication <br />used in the following areas on the apparatus and chassis: <br />- Engine oil <br />- Engine Coolant <br />- Transmission Fluid <br />- Drive Axle Lubrication Fluid <br />- Generator Lubrication Fluid (where applicable) <br />- Tire Pressures <br />APPARATUS INFORMATION LABEL <br />There shall be a high-visibility label installed in a location clearly detectable to the driver while in <br />the seated position. <br />The label shall indicate the following specified information. <br />Overall Height (feet and inches) <br />Overall Length (feet and inches) <br />Overall GVWR (tons or metric tons) <br />VEHICLE STABILITY (CG) CALCULATION OR MEASUREMENT CERTIFICATION <br />Vehicle stability or roll stability shall be presented by methods of calculations or measurements <br />per the current NFPA Standard for Automotive Fire Apparatus in force at time of contract. The <br />calculated or measured center of gravity (CG) shall be no higher than 80 percent of the rear axle <br />track width. <br />The Manufactures shall utilize supplied documents and information detailing specific equipment <br />and locations for purposes of calculating CG. If no such information is supplied the Manufacture <br />shall estimate approximate equipment loads based upon the vehicle configuration for such <br />calculations in correspondence with the current NFPA Standard for Automotive Fire Apparatus in <br />force at time of contract, required loadings. <br />Upon acceptance of the vehicle, a signed Manufactures written certification shall be supplied with <br />the fire apparatus before delivery. <br />ATTY/AGR.2025.089/Fire Apparatus Solutions (Purchase of Spartan-LTC 105' TDA) (Page 84 of 150)
