The City applied for and was awarded the contract for <br />Service Area 3 encompassing Redwood City, Unincorporated North Fair Oaks, Woodside, Portola Valley, <br />and Atherton. <br />The County proposes a three-year contract in the amount of $1,793,282.40. Clients to be served are low- <br />income adults, youth, and families who reside in the designated service area in the County. Many of these <br />residents are at risk of experiencing homelessness, and they experience various challenges including <br />maintaining housing, potential evictions, and food insecurity. The Fair Oaks Community Center <br />Information and Referral Program will provide these residents with emergency and safety net services to <br />meet immediate and basic needs. Services include food, housing, homeless prevention services, <br />emergency financial support including rent and/or utility assistance, shelter, clothing, and/or <br />transportation. <br />EQUITY IMPACT STATEMENT <br />Equity and/or inclusion was considered in development or implementation of item through the <br />following: <br />ď‚·Assessment of benefits and burdens by race, income, age, gender, citizenship status, or other <br />identity <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />The proposed contract provides $1,793,282.40 in revenue over three years for Core Services at the Fair <br />Oaks Community Center. The anticipated expenditures for FY 2025-26 are included in the Recommended <br />FY 2025-26 budget, and the expenditures for subsequent years will be included in those budgets. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW <br />This activity is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) as defined in CEQA <br />Guidelines, section 15378, because it has no potential for resulting in either a direct or reasonably <br />foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment. <br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br />Public notification was achieved by posting the agenda, with the agenda items being listed, at least 72 <br />hours prior to the meeting. <br />6.L. - Page 2 of 51 <br />99
