Contractor will refer clients to appropriate public agencies and/or online <br />resources such as BenefitsCal (https://benefitscal.com/) for assistance applying <br />for or maintaining public benefits, including CalFresh, CalWORKs, General <br />Assistance, Cash Assistance Program for Immigrants (CAPI), unemployment <br />benefits, Women, Infants and Children (WIC) benefits, and health coverage <br />programs such as Covered California, ACE, and Medi-Cal. Additionally, <br />questions or provide support regarding eligible benefits specific to veterans. <br />13. Provide referrals to legal resources. <br />a. Contractor will inform households in need of legal support related to their housing <br />situations about the EFA resources, as described above, in addition to referring <br />the household to available legal resources to assist with their legal needs (such <br />as eviction proceedings, questions about tenant rights, etc.).
