Page 3 of 9 <br />authority set forth therein, including the authority to negotiate, execute, and <br />amend agreements for such plans as needed. <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br />6.D.Resolution of local support to apply for $1,321,000 in Metropolitan <br />Transportation Commission grant funds for Redwood City transportation <br />projects on Jefferson Avenue and Page Street which enhance mobility and <br />improve connectivity to community destinations for all road users <br />Recommendation: <br />Adopt a resolution authorizing the filing of an application for $1,321,000 in <br />funding assigned to the Metropolitan Transportation Commission and <br />committing necessary matching funds and stating assurance to complete the <br />project. <br />CEQA: <br />Actions associated with adopting a resolution of support and accepting funding <br />do not constitute a project pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act <br />guidelines section 15378(b)(4). Future construction of the projects will be <br />categorically exempt from the requirements of CEQA pursuant to CEQA <br />Guidelines Section 15301(c), Class 1 (“Existing Facilities”) for the repair and <br />maintenance of existing highways and streets with negligible or no expansion of <br />an existing use. <br />6.E.Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Redwood City and the <br />County of San Mateo for the purpose of providing personnel support to the San <br />Mateo County Gun Relinquishment Task Force <br />Recommendation: <br />Approve an agreement authorizing the City through the Redwood City Police <br />Department to collaborate with the County of San Mateo to provide firearm <br />relinquishment and enforcement services and authorize the City Manager to <br />execute the Memorandum of Understanding in substantially the form presented. <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br />6.F.Award of contract to SubTerra Construction for the Veterans Boulevard <br />Sanitary Sewer Replacement Project - Phase 3 <br />Recommendation: <br />By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to: <br />3
