Annual Action Plan <br /> <br />44 <br />OMB Control No: 2506-0117 (exp. 09/30/2021) <br />Goal Descriptions <br />1 Goal Name Affordable Housing Production <br />Goal <br />Description <br />Assist in the development of affordable housing to meet the needs of extremely <br />low-, very low-, low-, and moderate-income households.  <br />2 Goal Name Affordable Housing Preservation <br />Goal <br />Description <br />Conserve and improve the condition of the existing affordable housing stock and <br />preserve affordable housing developments at risk of conversion to market-rate <br />housing. <br />3 Goal Name Homeless Services <br />Goal <br />Description <br />Provide high-quality, professional services in all temporary shelters and <br />comprehensive outreach services designed to directly connect individuals to all <br />appropriate services, including permanent housing and obtaining healthcare and <br />available cash and non-cash benefits. <br />4 Goal Name Basic Human Needs Services <br />Goal <br />Description <br />Funds will be used to support services and activities that address basic human <br />needs. <br />5 Goal Name Economic Development Services <br />Goal <br />Description <br />Support entrepreneurship programs and businesses, targeting businesses owned <br />by minority populations as well as support low to moderate income households <br />as they seek employment, by covering expenses such as childcare, after-school <br />youth services, etc. <br />6 Goal Name Administration and Coordination <br />Goal <br />Description <br />Fund the administration and oversight of the City’s HOME and CDBG programs.  <br />This will include the coordination and enhancement of private/public <br />partnerships. <br />7 Goal Name Fair Housing Services <br />Goal <br />Description <br />Support fair housing services for Redwood City residents and provide <br />information on housing discrimination. <br />8 Goal Name Public Facilities & Infrastructure <br />Goal <br />Description <br />Funds will be used to support activities that create, expand or improve public <br />facilities and infrastructure. <br /> <br /> <br />7.A. - Page 52 of 189 <br />256
