From:Lisa Anderson Mehta
To:publiccomment
Subject:no new wireless facilities from Crown Castle or anyone
Date:Monday, June 9, 2025 10:22:02 AM
You don't often get email from andersonova2@yahoo.com. Learn why this is important
Dear Redwood City decision makers,
I urge our town to halt any further approvals of new wireless broadband facilities.
We already have reliable internet service—additional EMF-emitting towers won’t
improve connectivity, only increase unnecessary radiation in our neighborhoods.
Redundant Infrastructure: Existing home-based wireless and wired
broadband sufficiently serve residents’ needs.
Precautionary Health Principle: In the absence of long-term, independent
safety data on chronic EMF exposure, it makes sense to stop expanding tower
density near homes.
Call for a Complete Moratorium: Please enact an immediate moratorium on
all new wireless facility permits until a thorough, open, well publicized,
community-led review of health, environmental, and planning impacts is
completed.
Thank you for taking a precautionary approach and protecting my, my family's and
our community’s health and quality of life.
Sincerely,
Lisa
"If you keep breathing, you'll have lived another year of life. What kind of life will YOU
create this year?" -Mary Morrissey
