REV: 02-11-25 LF <br />EXHIBIT “A” <br />Program Objectives, Scope of Services & Quantitative Goals <br />Subrecipient Information <br />Subrecipient Name:Step Into a Job <br />Address: 530 Bush St, 201 <br />City, State, ZIP: San Francisco, CA 94108-3623 <br />Project Name: Pandemic Readiness Medical Job Training <br />Program Objectives <br />Project will address Redwood City’s Consolidated Plan 2023-2027 <br />priorities and goals as follows: <br />Priority Need #3: Human Services: <br />Goal – Human Services: Funds will be used to support services and <br />activities that address basic human needs. <br />Scope of Services <br />Description of Services to be Provided: <br />Through the Pandemic Readiness Medical Job Training program, 20 low-to- <br />moderate income Redwood City residents (households with incomes at or below <br />80% of the Area Median Income {AMI} for San Mateo County) will complete a <br />Phlebotomy Program and continue onto Medical Assisting and EKG modules. <br />CERTIFICATION OBJECTIVES: As part of the program graduates will prepare <br />and take 3 national certification exams and will apply and obtain CPT1 <br />Phlebotomy license with the California Department of Public Health - Laboratory <br />Field Services, as follows: <br />National Medical Assistant Certification (NCMA), <br />National Certified Phlebotomy Technician (NCPT), <br />California State Phlebotomy Licensing (CPT1), and <br />EKG Technician National Certification (NCET) [optional] <br />OUTCOMES: This program prepares participants for the following positions Soc <br />/ O*Net Codes: <br />31-9092 Medical Assistant, Hospital Assistant <br />31-9099 Health Support Workers-Phlebotomist <br />29-2031 Cardiovascular Technician <br />ATTY/AGR.2025.021/Step Into a Job!
