ENGINEERING AND TRANSPORTATION <br />DEPARTMENT <br />(ftedwood' <br />ty l cala.ml. <br />April 18, 2025 <br />TO: ALL PLANHOLDERS <br />SUBJECT: ADDENDUM NO.1 <br />1017 Middlefield Road <br />Redwood City, CA 94063 <br />(650) 780-7380 <br />Fax (650) 780-0128 <br />MITCHELL & FAIR OAKS FIELD SYNTHETIC TURF REPLACEMENT PROJECT <br />Pursuant to INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS, Paragraph 1.04, "ADDENDA", Page 00 2113, the City of Redwood <br />City is enclosing additional information and changes to the Contract Documents for the Subject Project. <br />The following revisions are hereby made to the above referenced project: <br />PROJECT PIANS — Mitchell Field <br />1. Drawing No. 31,221 (Mitchell Field, Sheet C2.0) from the bid plan set has been removed and is <br />being replaced in order to show the SFPUC right-of-way and pipelines, and to identify allowable <br />staging areas in the parking lot at the end of Myrtle Street. <br />See attached revised Drawing No. 31,221. <br />PROJECT SPECIFICATLM <br />1. Specification Section 32 1813 —Synthetic Turf Playing Field (Mitchell), page 321813 - 6 has been <br />removed and is being replaced in order to clarify Part2.02-A & 2.03-C. <br />Part 2.02-A: Based on the accepted substitution request, Legion 2.0 by Shaw Sports Turf is added <br />as an approved turf product. <br />Part2.03-C: The cork infill shall meet the following minimum requirements: <br />a. Shall be virgin, sustainably sourced materials. <br />b. Shall be 1-3 mm in size <br />c. Shall be "high density" material, with a bulk density not less than 250 kg/m3. <br />2. Specification Section 32 1813 —Synthetic Turf Playing Field (Fair Oaks), page 321813 -5 has been <br />removed and is being replaced in order to clarify Part2.01-B & DA <br />Part 2.01-B: Based on the accepted substitution request, Legion 2.0 by Shaw Sports Turf is added <br />as an approved turf product. <br />Part2.01-DA The cork infill shall meet the following minimum requirements: <br />a.
