6.1 C <br /> Page 3 <br /> AMENDMENT N4. 1 TO EXTEND AND AMEND AGREEMENT F4R <br /> COMMUNICATI�N AND EDUCATIONAL tNFORMATfON SUPPORT <br /> Data Ins#incts <br /> This Amendment No. 1 is entered into and effective as of the day of <br /> , 2009, extending and amending the agreement dated April 10, 2009 (the <br /> "Agreement") by and between the City of ,Redwood City, a charter city and municipal <br /> corporation of the State of California ( City ), and Data lnstincts ("Consultant") <br /> (collectively, the "Parties"). <br /> RECITALS <br /> A. On April 10, 2009, the Parties executed an Agreement for Communication <br /> and Educational lnformation Support; and <br /> B. The Parties desire to alter the Agreement's scope of work to extend and <br /> fund the Agreement for a period of three months. <br /> N4W, THEREFORE, in consideration of these recita[s and the mutual covenants <br /> contained herein, the Parties agree as follows: <br /> 1. That the Agreement, as may have been amended from time to time, is <br /> hereby extended for a period of three months ending on February 28„ 2010 and <br /> Consultant will be paid an amount not to exceed an additional Thirty Six Thousand <br /> Dollars ($36,000.00). The aggregate amount for this agreement should not exceed <br /> Ninety Five Thousand Five Hundred Dollars {$95,504.40�. <br /> 2. In addition to those services contained in the Agreement, as may have <br /> been amended from time to time, Gonsultant will provide those services and products <br /> described in Exhibit "A" at the hourly rates and costs set forth in Exhibi# "B" of this <br /> Amendment No. 1. <br /> 3. Consultant will complete all work described in Exhibit "A" by February 28, <br /> 2010. <br /> 4. All other provisions of the Agreement, as may have been amended from <br /> time to time, will remain in ful!force and effect. <br /> 5.
