Staff are currently developing an updated “bench <br />report” showing the status of billing against contracts with consulting firms. This will be provided to the <br />City Council later this summer. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />A RFSOQ process was followed to ensure a comparative process and competitive pricing. Results of the <br />RFSOQ are included in the Analysis section. <br />Approval of these Agreement for Services for on-call environmental services does not obligate City <br />financial commitments. Services and associated costs to be provided under each Agreement will be <br />determined by task order, as needed, for specific capital projects. Funding for each task will be included <br />in the associated project’s funding appropriation. <br />Funds may be available for these agreements in the following funds, as identified by applicable projects: <br />Capital Outlay Fund (357), Sewer Funds (689 and 692), Water Funds (686 and 691), and Transportation <br />Funds (262, 264, 278, and 285). <br />ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW <br />This activity is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) as defined in CEQA <br />Guidelines, section 15378, because it has no potential for resulting in either a direct or reasonably <br />foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment. <br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br />Public notification was achieved by posting the agenda, with the agenda items being listed, at least 72 <br />hours prior to the meeting. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />The City Council may choose not to authorize the execution of the on-call agreements and direct staff to <br />pursue alternate means to seek environmental professional services. Alternatives may include: <br />Executing one, two, three, or no agreements. <br />Direct staff to re-issue the RFSOQ. <br />6.A. - Page 4 of 55 <br />12
