Bidders are responsible for ensuring that their bid packages are <br />received by the bid submission deadline. Faxed, emailed or late bids will not be <br />accepted. <br /> <br />5. BID SUBMISSION CHECKLIST <br /> <br /> Key Points <br />1 Bid Proposal Form will specify any exceptions to the specified vehicle. <br />2 Bid Proposal Form will specify additional warranties. <br />3 Bid Proposal Form will specify the maximum number of days until delivery <br />to Redwood City (after purchase order is released). The maximum number <br />of days until delivery will be listed by the Bidder as a specific number of <br />days (e.g. 90 days) and not a range of days (e.g. 90-120 days). <br />4 Bidder will sign all required pages of the Bid Proposal Form. <br />5 Successful Bidder will obtain exempt license plates and furnish the <br />Department of Motor Vehicles with a report of sale, smog certificate, the <br />City’s exempt registration form (Reg. 217) and all other needed paperwork <br />on behalf of the city. <br /> <br /> <br />6. WITHDRAWAL OF BID <br /> <br />Any Bidder may withdraw his or her bid by written request (addressed to the City Contact). <br /> <br />7. INTERPRETATION <br /> <br />If a prospective Bidder is in doubt of the true meaning of any part of this "Notice Inviting Sealed <br />Bids" or finds discrepancies in, or omissions in the same, the Bidder may submit to the City <br />Contact a written request for an interpretation or a correction thereof. Any interpretations or <br />correction of the proposed documents will only be made by an addendum posted online to the <br />City’s website. Such addendum shall be considered a part of the NIB. <br />8. NEW MATERIAL; ACCEPTABLE <br /> <br />The unit(s) herein specified shall be constructed throughout of new parts and materials, which shall <br />have seen no service other than that necessary for factory tests, unless otherwise allowed in the <br />Bid Specification. Items purchased hereunder will be subject to final inspection and acceptance at <br />delivery destination as set forth in this Notice Inviting Sealed Bids. <br /> <br />9.
