Page 1 of 5 <br />City of Redwood City 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, CA. 94063 Tel: 650-780-7000 www.redwoodcity.org <br />STAFF REPORT <br />To the Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From the City Manager <br />DATE: June 23, 2025 <br />SUBJECT <br />Amendment No. 8 to Agreement for Services with CherryRoad Technologies to authorize the option to renew cloud <br />and subscription services for one additional year and extend software support services and expertise support hours <br />for the City’s ERP/HCM system through May 31, 2026 <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute Amendment No. 8 to Agreement for Services with <br />CherryRoad Technologies to renew cloud and subscription services and extend the software support services and <br />technical expertise support services hours for the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)/Human Capital Management <br />(HCM) for one additional year through May 31, 2026 for a not-to-exceed amount of $653,518, for a total contract <br />amount of $7,228,156. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN GUIDING PRINCIPLE <br />Excellence in Government Operations <br />BACKGROUND <br />Original Scope of the Project <br />On April 8, 2019, staff presented the City Council with a comprehensive update on a vendor selection process for a <br />new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and the proposed phased approach to the implementation of the <br />various individual technology systems included in the project. The City’s legacy ERP system was developed over 30 <br />years prior and included critical functions such as Budgeting and Reporting, Business License Tax, Finance, Grant and <br />Project Tracking, Human Resources/Payroll, and Utility Billing. <br />6.H. - Page 1 of 187 <br />153
