The grant requires a 10 percent local match ($400,000) for the proposed project which will be <br />funded by the Transportation Mitigation Fee Fund 285. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW <br />Authorization to submit a grant application is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act <br />(CEQA) as defined in CEQA Guidelines, section 15378, as applying for and accepting funding have no <br />potential for resulting in either a direct or reasonably foreseeable indirect physical change in the <br />environment. <br />If the project receives grant funding, CEQA and NEPA (National Environmental Policy Act) documentation <br />will be filed and completed for the project. <br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br />Public notification was achieved by posting the agenda, with the agenda items being listed, at least 72 <br />hours prior to the meeting. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />The City Council may choose not to adopt a resolution of support for grant funding for this project and <br />direct staff to identify alternative funding sources. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br /> <br />Attachment A – Resolution of support <br />REPORT PREPARED BY: <br />Malahat Owrang, Principal Planner <br />mowrang@redwoodcity.org <br />(650) 780-7245 <br />6.B. - Page 4 of 7 <br />67
