Their topics include: <br />Alcoholic Beverage Consumption <br />Drug-Free Workplace <br />Fraud in the Workplace <br />Gifts to Employees <br />Nepotism <br />Positive Work Environment and Policy Against Harassment, Discrimination and Retaliation <br />Travel <br />Workplace Violence <br /> <br />Interdepartmental Committees have been established to integrate employees into decision making and <br />promote consistency across departments on several topics, including: <br />Workplace safety and employee wellness <br />Diversity, Equity and Inclusion <br />Employee appreciation events <br /> <br />Training is required biannually in harassment prevention, in accordance with state law, and records are <br />maintained to confirm all employees have completed the training. <br /> <br />Technology and information Management <br /> <br />Training is required annually in cybersecurity, and records are maintained to confirm all employees have <br />completed the training each year. <br />An interdepartmental Technology Governance Committee of executive managers has been established <br />to reduce risk, improve productivity and promote consistent practices and processes across City <br />departments in multiple areas, including: <br />Responsible and ethical use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) <br />Document and Information Management <br />Procurement of software systems and services <br />Surveillance equipment and records <br /> <br />Additionally, the City has implemented systems to track and manage technology service delivery, <br />including a new help desk system for IT support requests and a dashboard to monitor project intake and <br />prioritization.
