Resolution approving and authorizing the City Manager to amend or establish Section <br />457(b) deferred compensation plans for Redwood City employees, including the <br />authority to negotiate, execute, and amend agreements for such plans as needed <br /> (904) Reso 16323 <br />Recommendation: <br />Adopt a resolution approving and authorizing the City Manager to amend the Section <br />457(b) deferred compensation plans currently maintained by the City for Redwood City <br />employees or to establish Section 457(b) deferred compensation plans for Redwood City <br />employees, the terms of which designate the City Manager ex officio to be the “Plan <br />Administrator” with the discretionary authority set forth therein, including the authority <br />to negotiate, execute, and amend agreements for such plans as needed. <br /> <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br /> <br /> 6.D. Resolution of local support to apply for $1,321,000 in Metropolitan Transportation <br />Commission grant funds for Redwood City transportation projects on Jefferson Avenue <br />and Page Street which enhance mobility and improve connectivity to community <br />destinations for all road users (505) Reso 16324 <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />Adopt a resolution authorizing the filing of an application for $1,321,000 in funding <br />assigned to the Metropolitan Transportation Commission and committing necessary <br />matching funds and stating assurance to complete the project. <br /> <br />CEQA: <br />Actions associated with adopting a resolution of support and accepting funding do not <br />constitute a project pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act guidelines <br />section 15378(b)(4). Future construction of the projects will be categorically exempt <br />from the requirements of CEQA pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15301(c), Class 1 <br />(“Existing Facilities”) for the repair and maintenance of existing highways and streets <br />with negligible or no expansion of an existing use. <br /> <br /> 6.E.
