<br />NOTIFICATION OF RESIDENTS & BUSINESSES 01 3500-2 <br /> <br />d. Signs shall be placed on both ends of the "NO PARKING" zone. <br />e. All signs indicating a "NO PARKING" zone, shall be removed the <br />same day that the work requiring "NO PARKING" zone is <br />completed. <br />f. The "NO PARKING TOW AWAY" signs (see above) will be <br />provided by the City, and shall be ordered immediately after the <br />Notice to Proceed is issued. <br />g. The Inspector and the Redwood City Traffic Department and Police <br />Department shall be notified of the "NO PARKING TOW AWAY" <br />zone, before the 48-hour period, for their approval. <br />2. Use of Barricades <br />a. Shall be Type III barricades, with properly working and maintained <br />flashing lights. <br />b. Shall be placed at intervals of no greater than 50-feet. <br />c. Shall be placed in the street or in the parkway as close to the street <br />as possible where it is easily visible. <br />d. Shall be removed from the street the same day the work is <br />completed. <br />3. Certification of Posting <br />a. After the "NO PARKING" zone is established, the Contractor shall <br />provide the Engineer with a signed certificate stating when the signs <br />were posted, what time periods the zone covers, and a sketch <br />showing the location. <br />b. The Contractor shall also provide photographs of the posting to <br />verify the condition of the "NO PARKING" at the time of posting. <br />NOTE: IF POSTING PROCEDURES ARE NOT PROPERLY FOLLOWED, THE <br />CONTRACTOR SHALL RESCHEDULE THE WORK FOR THAT SITE AND <br />ABSORB ANY INCURRED COSTS. <br /> <br />* * * <br /> <br />
