Learn why this is important <br />Hello all, <br />I am a neighbor who is also affected by this maddening sound. My husband and I are seriously <br />considering moving because of the helplessness we feel and the extent to which this nuisance <br />is affecting our quality of life. Like Russ, we have contacted this same list of people to no <br />avail. <br />I am attaching a video that is recording the decibel readings taken from inside our home. It is <br />on average reading 80 decibels when we hear this sound. We are at a considerable distance <br />from the source, probably at least 200 feet. This one is taken during the day, but this same <br />noise happens at the same levels during all hours of the night, as Russ said. For instance, last <br />night I heard it a multiple times at around 11pm, once at 1am, and twice very very loud at <br />about 5am. I am trying to put my baby to sleep right now and I’ve heard it twice from the <br />other side of the house (it’s 10:20pm). <br />Also, I would just like to say that while it seems very likely that the noise is coming from 926 <br />Woodside, there are other apartment buildings in the same block and it very well could be <br />from another one. I’ve wondered if it could be the one that is new construction (910 <br />Woodside) because the first time we heard this sound (back then it was quite infrequent and <br />not a significant problem) coincided more or less with when those units were complete and <br />becoming occupied. <br />I hope this video is helpful. If I can provide anything else, please let me know.
