Executive Summary <br />City of Redwood City (0011239.02)10 Woodard & Curran, Inc. <br />Sanitary Sewer Capacity Master Plan November 2023 <br />1.Project C1 was originally identified to replace one of the existing 27-inch trunk lines in Walnut Avenue between <br />Bradford Street and Veterans Boulevard. However, the City has already authorized the South Main Sanitary Sewer <br />Mitigation project, which will replace one of those lines with a new 42-inch sewer. <br />2.Project also identified in previous master plans. <br />3.Project could be reduced in size or eliminated by 30 percent RDI/I reduction. <br />4.An alternative to this project could include extending the PS9 force main to PS10 with associated upgrades to <br />pumps and electrical/backup power systems at PS9. <br />5.Project will upgrade PS9 and replace (upsize) its force main; the project has already been designed and bid by <br />the City. <br />6.The existing deficient pipe is the 15-inch sewer that parallels (diagonally) Winslow St. from Standish St. to Brewster <br />Ave. <br />ATTY/RESO.0077/CC RESO SEWER SYSTEM MANAGEMENT PLAN - EXHIBIT A <br />REV: 07-14-25 LF <br /> <br />Page 99 of 317
