REV: 05-29-25 LR <br />J. Assist the City in filing project completion reports as well as providing <br />memorandums that summarize activities performed during the construction of <br />projects. <br />K. Assist with NEPA/CEQA documentation and assist the City in identifying <br />distribution and publishing requirements necessary for compliance with <br />NEPA/CEQA and, when requested, undertake the distribution of documents and <br />publishing of required notices with the State Clearinghouse or other entities. <br />L. Assist the City in identifying the level of environmental documents necessary for <br />project approval from State and Federal agencies. This includes but is not limited <br />to projects funded by State and Federal grants. <br />M. Prepare of Initial Studies, Negative Declarations, Mitigated Negative Declarations, <br />Mitigation Monitoring Plans, Early Consultations, Notices of Intent, and Notices of <br />Determination. <br />N. Prepare technical memorandums providing assessments of changes in <br />environmental regulations and advising the City on updates to environmental <br />guidelines and/or environmental review processes. <br />O. Coordinate with environmental permitting agencies to identify and resolve potential <br />environmental issues as early in the decision-making process as feasible. <br />P. Attend public meetings/hearings, as necessary, to provide technical presentations <br />and respond to public inquiries. <br />Q. Review of civil engineering plans for new or rehabilitated sewer facilities (pipelines, <br />manholes, and structures), and provide environmental engineering <br />recommendations. <br />R. Assist the City with Caltrans Preliminary Environmental Study (PES) process and <br />ability to assist City with applicable studies and permits that are required by project <br />specific PES. <br />Schedule of rates <br />Consultant shall be paid on a time and material basis at the hourly rates set forth in the <br />fee schedule below on a not to exceed amount as mutually agreed for each individual <br />task order. <br />Staff classification and rates may change over the contract term if requested by the <br />Consultant and approved by the City Engineer in writing. <br />ATTY/AGR.2025.129/David J.
