REV: 07-10-25 VR <br />EXHIBIT A <br />Project Description <br />This document is the Project Description contemplated by the Memorandum of Understanding <br />between Redwood City Together and City of Redwood City acting as fiscal agent for Redwood <br />City Together (the “Collaborator”) and Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County (“us” or <br />“LASSMC”). <br />I. Basic Project Data: <br />Project Purpose:The purpose of LIBRE is to inform low-income San Mateo County <br />immigrant families and individuals about safety net services that <br />they can legally obtain; dispel misunderstandings about the impact <br />of receiving benefits on their immigration status; provide legal <br />services to ensure that benefits are obtained; and increase the <br />community’s capacity to help immigrants access safety net <br />benefits. Through the Supporting Family Preparedness & <br />Preventing Legal Vulnerability project, LIBRE partners will <br />renew efforts to educate the immigrant community and social <br />service providers, assist with family preparedness plans, combat <br />the public charge chilling effect, and provide immigration legal <br />updates. <br />This MOU does not replace any existing MOU. <br />Project Start Date: <br />Project End Date:December 8, 2025 <br />Primary Contact at <br />LASSMC: <br />M. LASSMC’s Project Responsibilities: <br />LASSMC will serve as fiscal agent for this project, which includes writing and submitting <br />proposals, writing the MOUs for this project, completing all the financial duties for the project, <br />developing and maintaining relationships with funders, collecting project data, completing client <br />follow-up, and writing and submitting contract reports. <br />LASSMC will pay Collaborator $82,096.00 to complete the work outlined in the Collaborator’s <br />Project Responsibilities section below. <br />LASSMC will also: <br />1.
