CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />REVENUE SERVICES MANAGER (Continued) <br />2 <br />remittances to account statements to ensure receipt of the appropriate <br />payments, and overseeing the utility billing process. <br />2.Participates in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, <br />policies, and priorities for the division; recommends within departmental policy, <br />appropriate service and staffing levels; recommends and administers policies <br />and procedures. <br />3.Participates in the development, administration, and oversight of division <br />budgets including forecasting revenues and controlling expenditures. <br />4.Develops and standardizes procedures and methods to improve and <br />continuously monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of assigned programs, <br />service delivery methods, and procedures; assesses and monitors workload, <br />administrative and support systems, and internal reporting relationships; <br />identifies opportunities for improvement and makes recommendations to the <br />Assistant City Manager of Administrative ServicesFinance Director. <br />5.Participates in the selection of, trains, motivates, and evaluates assigned <br />personnel; works with employees on performance issues; recommends and <br />implements disciplinary procedures as necessary. <br />6.Monitors and reviews financial records and reports related to tax revenues; <br />reconciles remittance of tax payments to ensure that appropriate payments are <br />received by the City. <br />7.Oversees business licensing fee process as well as other licensing and <br />permitting fee processes pursuant to City ordinances and other regulatory <br />requirements; ensures proper remittance of fees to the City. <br />8.Manages the utility billing function; oversees and administers the <br />implementation of revisions to the fee structure; addresses the most difficult <br />and complex customer service issues and problems related to utility billing. <br />9.Balances subsidiary ledger activity to the general ledger; resolves cash and <br />revenue reconciliation issues. <br />10.Provides information to other City departments and divisions regarding revenue <br />services policies and procedures; interprets policies and procedures for <br />departments. <br />11.Provides highly complex staff assistance to the Finance DirectorAssistant City <br />Manager; develops and reviews staff reports and other necessary <br />correspondence related to assigned activities and services; gives oral <br />presentations to the City Council as well as various commissions, committees, <br />boards, and other stakeholders. <br />ATTY/RESO.0086/CC RESO AMENDING THE CITY CLASSIFICATION, SALARY AND WAGE PLAN (LEAD LANDSCAPE GARDNER, PRINCIPLE & SENIOR <br />PLANNER, REVENUE SERVICES MANAGER) - EXHIBIT A <br />REV: 08-14-25 MI
