Page 1 of 4 <br />City of Redwood City 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, CA. 94063 Tel: 650-780-7000 www.redwoodcity.org <br />STAFF REPORT <br />To the Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From the City Manager <br />DATE: September 8, 2025 <br />SUBJECT <br />Review and adopt the Planning Commission Work Plan for Fiscal Years 2025-26 and 2026-27 <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />By motion, adopt the Fiscal Year 2025-26 and 2026-27 Planning Commission Work Plan. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN GUIDING PRINCIPLE <br />Excellence in Government Operations <br />BACKGROUND <br />In 2018, the City Council (CC) asked each advisory Board, Committee, and Commission (“BCC”) to prepare <br />a two-year work plan, beginning with fiscal year 2018-2019, for City Council review and approval. The <br />purpose of the work plan is to align BCC work with the City Council’s Strategic Plan. Work plans are to be <br />prepared by BCC members and presented to the City Council by the BCC Chair and Vice Chair. <br /> <br />ANALYSIS <br />Fiscal Year 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 Work Plan Evaluation <br />During FY 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 the Planning Commission (PC) identified five priorities.
