Use of recycled water for irrigation and non-drinking water applications allows the City to
reduce use of potable water for these purposes, thereby increasing the resiliency of the City’s water
supply.
On July 15, 2024, the City Council awarded the construction contract for the Project to Cratus, Inc. of San
Francisco, CA for its bid of $1,673,600. The City Council also authorized the City Manager to increase the
contract amount, if necessary, up to 20 percent of the original contract amount, for a total amount not to
exceed $2,008,320. This Project constructed approximately 900 linear feet of 30-inch diameter recycled
water main through Marshall Street from Walnut Street to Jefferson Avenue.

8.A. - Page 1 of 3
9
