ATTY/RESO.0098/CC RESO APPROVING CHANGES TO DENTAL INSURANCE FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2026 <br />REV: 09-17-25 MI <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. Effective January 1, 2026, the Delta Dental plan for Executive Management <br />and Confidential Employees will cover 90% of the cost of approved services provided by <br />in-network providers, and the employee will be responsible for 10% of the cost of <br />approved services provided by in-network providers. <br /> <br />2. Effective January 1, 2026, the Delta Dental plan for Executive Management <br />and Confidential Employees will continue to cover 80% of the cost of approved services <br />provided by premier and out-of-network providers, and the employee will be responsible <br />for 20% of the cost of approved services provided by premier and out-of-network <br />providers. <br /> <br />3. Effective January 1, 2026, the annual cap for dental care for Executive <br />Management and Confidential Employees will increase to $2,500, and the lifetime cap for <br />orthodonture will increase to $3,000, subject to all other terms and conditions of the plan. <br /> <br />4. Effective January 1, 2026, the City will continue to pay ninety percent (90%) <br />of the dental insurance premium for eligible Executive Management and Confidential <br />employees and their dependents, and employees will continue to pay ten percent (10%) <br />of the dental insurance premium. <br /> <br />5.
