These patterns are detailed in Figures 1-4 and help guide <br />safety improvements. <br />Pedestrian collisions tend to be concentrated along major corridors such as Broadway, El Camino Real, <br />Woodside Road near Middlefield Road. Additional areas with high pedestrian collision rates include Maple <br />Street and Whipple Avenue east of El Camino Real. <br />For bicycle collisions, concentrations include the intersection of Middlefield Road and Woodside Road, as <br />well as stretches along El Camino Real, Veterans Boulevard, and Middlefield Road between Maple Street <br />and the Caltrain station. <br />Vehicle-only collisions show concentrations around Redwood Shores Parkway between Twin Dolphin <br />Drive and Bridge Parkway, along with areas on Whipple Avenue east of El Camino Real. Other high-incident <br />areas include El Camino Real, Woodside Road, Jefferson Avenue, Veterans Boulevard, and Middlefield <br />Road. It is important to note that El Camino Real and Woodside Road both experience high concentrations <br />of all collision types.
