Results of the RFP <br />are included in the Analysis section. <br />Approval of these agreements for on-call Geotechnical Investigation, Special Inspection and Material <br />Testing Professional Services and Land Surveyor Professional Services does not obligate City financial <br />commitments. Services and associated costs to be provided under each Agreement will be determined on <br />an as-needed basis through individual task orders. Funding for each task will be drawn from the associated <br />project’s approved funding appropriation. <br />These agreements have no impact on the General Fund. The following funds may be available for these <br />agreements, as identified by applicable projects: Capital Outlay Fund (357), Sewer Funds (689 and 692), <br />Water Funds (686 and 691), and Transportation Funds (262, 264, 278 and 285). <br />ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW <br />This activity is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) as defined in CEQA <br />Guidelines, section 15378, because it has no potential for resulting in either a direct or reasonably <br />foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment. <br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br />Public notification was achieved by posting the agenda, with the agenda items being listed, at least 72 <br />hours prior to the meeting. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />The City Council may choose not to authorize the execution of the on-call agreements and direct staff to <br />pursue alternative means to seek geotechnical investigation, special inspection and material testing <br />professional services and land surveyor professional services. Alternatives may include: <br />Executing one, two, three, four, five, or no agreements <br />Direct staff to re-issue one or both RFPs. <br />Both alternatives may delay the timeline for projects that require geotechnical and/or surveying services <br />and will require additional costs for staff time, advertising, and preparation of rebid documents. <br />7.C. - Page 5 of 110 <br />40
