REV: 08-14-25 LF <br />Subtask 4.3 - Chemical Analysis of Groundwater Samples <br />Consultant shall submit samples to a California certified analytical laboratory for analysis <br />under chain-of-custody for analysis of a list of selected halogenated volatile organic <br />compounds (HVOCs) that include PCE; TCE; cis-1,2-DCE; trans-1,2-DCE; 1,1-DCE; and <br />vinyl chloride, by EPA Method 8260B. <br />If requested by the City, Consultant may submit groundwater samples from five selected <br />wells for microbial (DNA) analyses of Dehalococcoides (DHC) to monitor levels in <br />groundwater after remediation. <br />Subtask 4.4 - Monitoring Reports <br />Upon receipt of the laboratory analysis data, Consultant shall prepare a Groundwater <br />Monitoring Report describing the field activities, analytical methods, results, and <br />recommended next steps. Consultant shall submit the draft for City review and <br />incorporate City feedback to create a final report to submit to the RWQCB. Consultant <br />shall upload the report to the RWQCB Geotracker database in accordance with regulatory <br />requirements. An electronic copy of each report shall also be emailed to the City. <br />Task 5 - Project Management and Administration <br />Consultant shall manage the project budget, scheduling, invoicing, and progress reporting <br />for this project. <br />Task 6 - Additional As-Needed Consultation Services <br />If unanticipated work is requested by City staff to complete this project, prior to the start <br />of any work under this task, Consultant shall develop a draft scope of work and estimate <br />the total hours anticipated. Consultant must obtain approval from the Public Works <br />Director or designee for the additional consultation services and cost before proceeding. <br />II. PAYMENT SCHEDULE <br />Consultant shall invoice monthly and be compensated on a time-and-material basis per <br />the following rate schedules. For Tasks 1 through 4 outlined above, Consultant shall not <br />charge for any lodging or meal expenses. Consultant may request with supporting <br />documentation an increase of no more than 3% to their labor rates at each anniversary <br />of the Effective Date for the duration of the Agreement. Any price increase must be <br />approved by the Public Works Director or designee.
