Amendment No. 6 to Agreement for Services with Gilbane Building Company for <br />project management services, and Amendment No. 8 to Agreement for Services with <br />ELS Architecture and Urban Design for construction administration services for the <br />Veterans Memorial Building/Senior Center-YMCA Project, for extended time and <br />services due to construction delays, with both amendments to be reimbursed by <br />Thompson Builder Corporation (304) <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />1. By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute Amendment No. 6 to <br />the Agreement for Services with Gilbane Building Company for project management <br />services for the Veterans Memorial Building/Senior Center for a not-to-exceed amount <br />of $244,365, for a total not-to-exceed amount of $5,051,533; and <br />2. By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute Amendment No. 8 to <br />the Agreement for Services with ELS Architecture and Urban Design for construction <br />administration services for a not to exceed amount of $153,534, for a total not-to-exceed <br />amount of $10,083,562. <br /> <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br /> <br /> 7.Q. Amendment No. 1 to Compost Broker Program Agreement with the San Mateo <br />Resource Conservation District with Program funded by a State grant (304) <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />By motion, determine that due to the unique nature of the goods and services, there is <br />only one reasonable and practicable source for the required service and the contract <br />may be awarded without a competitive bidding process, and approve and authorize the <br />City Manager to execute Amendment No. 1 to Compost Broker Program Agreement with <br />San Mateo Resource Conservation District (RCD), increasing the not-to-exceed amount <br />by $124,906 and amending the scope of services for the original term, for a total not-to- <br />exceed contract amount of $200,000 through May 1, 2026 (requires 5/7 vote). <br /> <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br />
