Project Location Map – Cambridge and Emerald Hills <br />ANALYSIS <br />Construction began in January 2025 and concluded in July 2025. <br />One contract change order (CCO) was approved for a total of $80,584 (two percent of the original contract <br />amount), which is within the approved contingency amount. The CCO covered items regarding site <br />conditions that differed from the plan set, conflicts with existing utilities, delays due to troubleshooting <br />the existing water system, and reconciliation of project quantities. Each of these items led to a change in <br />time and/or costs related to equipment, materials, or labor. <br />The City Engineer has determined the improvements outlined by the project plans and specifications are <br />complete. Therefore, staff recommend acceptance of the project, release of all bonds and retention and <br />filing of a notice of completion. <br />7.A. - Page 2 of 4 <br />8
